At Kids Care Hospital, we know that visits from loved ones can bring comfort, joy, and encouragement to young patients. Our visitor guidelines are designed to create a safe, supportive, and healing environment while protecting the health of all children in our care.
Our staff treats every patient and visitor with professionalism and care, and we ask that all visitors reciprocate with respect. Any verbal or physical abuse toward staff, or failure to follow hospital rules, may result in restricted access to the facility.
Outside food is not allowed in patient areas to maintain hygiene and ensure children receive nutritious meals. The hospital cafeteria and Atrium Café offer a variety of healthy options for visitors, while patient meals are tailored by our nutrition team.
Flowers are not permitted in patient rooms as some children may have allergies or breathing sensitivities. Consider giving cards, drawings, or small non-perishable gifts to show care instead.
Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the hospital premises, including entrances, to protect the health of children and visitors.
Children under 12 years are generally not allowed in patient areas for safety and infection control. Exceptions may be approved in special situations with prior permission from the nurse or administrator on duty.
